Dean of the PESS Faculty

Dr Gholamali Kargar

Dr Gholamali Kargar is Dean of ATU's Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences (PESS). He is also Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Planning in ATU PESS Faculty. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Physical Education and Sports Sciences from Teacher Training University in 1989 and 1992, respectively. He was then awarded his PhD Degree in Physical Education and Sports Sciences, majoring Management and Planning from University of Tehran in 2004. Prior to this, Dr Kargar had served as ATU’s Vice-President for Student and Cultural Affairs (2005-2007) and Director of Physical Education (1994-1997).

  • Master's Degree in Physical Education and Sports Sciences (1992), from Tarbiat Modares University (Iran)
